As an experienced wedding photographer in Northern Ireland, over the last 10+ years I have been honoured to photographed weddings at the best venues in the country.  It was such a privilege to shoot Dan & Orla's wedding at the incredible Old Court in Strangford.

Old Court is the perfect all-in-one venue for a summer wedding. Nestled in a private estate with stunning views of Strangford Lough, Old Court boasts a 17th-century church, beautifully restored stables, a unique yurt-inspired marquee, and expansive natural gardens that lead down to the Lough Shore. It is truly an incredible venue, I can't recommend the Old Court Wedding Company enough.

Dan & Orla were so lucky with constant sunshine on their wedding day.  The picturesque location was an absolute dream come true for everyone, and a treat for a lot of Dan's family who were visiting Ireland for the first time.

Orla was truly radiant and had 7 beautiful bridesmaids to match. Prior to the wedding, she expressed her hope for a "relaxed and laid-back wedding day, and realistically probably a bit chaotic and loud." This description was a perfect summary of the day - it was filled with laughter, joy, and happy chaos.

The wedding ceremony was especially memorable, as it was performed by Orla's brother, adding an even more personal touch to an already special day. With breathtaking views of Strangford Lough in the background, it was truly a momentous occasion.

I was honoured to work with such a talented team of vendors, including the unrivalled makeup artist Tippy Logronio, the incredibly talented hairstylist Ciara Armstrong, the superbly skilled Flowers by Mee, and the expert catering team from Edible Flowers. This dream team made the day such a breeze. The Fundamentals had the dancefloor bouncing, so much so that it was almost impossible for me to navigate through the crowd!

Dan and Orla's wedding at The Old Court Wedding Company was a brilliant day. I felt like everywhere I turned there was constant happiness, and it was a dream for me to shoot.
