Over the last 10+ years as wedding photographer, I have had the opportunity to witness and capture the most beautiful moments at the best venues that Northern Ireland has to offer. Recently, I had the privilege of photographing Adam and Rebekah's wedding at Belle Isle Estate in Fermanagh.

It was great to return to Belle Isle Estate, it's such an impressive venue and it never ceases to amaze me how stunning it is. It is such a breathtaking venue that boasts acres and acres of beautiful scenery. From the grounds itself, to the stunning lake, to the impressive castle, it's like a playground for a wedding photographer.  Belle Isle is the perfect venue for an intimate wedding, and that's just what Adam and Rebekah wanted.  It was a great day with lots of wholesome moments. My personal highlight was watching an emotional Adam shedded a few tears during the ceremony while Rebekah giggled away! It was such a beautiful contrast. Also it was an honour to witness Rebekah's dad's 'first look', his emotions were powerful and it was such a privilege to witness such a precious moment.

Belle Isle is steeped in history and boasts stunning landscapes that provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photos.  One of the best things about Belle Isle is that everything you need for a wedding is on site, so we didn't lose any time traveling between locations.   The venue is incredibly versatile and it’s stunning backdrops are always within a short walking distance.  It was great that we could capture as many moments as possible and not be away from the guests for too long.  It was so nice to spend time with Adam and Rebekah during the preparations and going between rooms easily, which made the entire process more personal from start to finish. The rooms are impressive and not too far from each other, so it was nice to dart between rooms during the preparations so quickly.

It is always a pleasure to work with the wonderful Ruth Hood, she did an outstanding job with her floral arrangements.  Also Julie Stubbs worked her magic creating beautiful hairstyles, and Jill Wallace was the makeup artist who made sure the bride and co. looked absolutely stunning.   Together, they made such a dream team and their skills truly shone through in the photos.

Adam and Rebekah's wedding at Belle Isle in Fermanagh was a wonderfully intimate affair with their closest friends and family.   I was truly honoured to capture their wedding.  Belle Isle is a stunning venue that never disappoints, and I look forward to the next opportunity to work there.
