Ronan & Kathy's wedding at Airfield Estate, Dublin

I am so excited to share Ronan and Kathy's wedding at Airfield Estate in Dublin. It was a wedding filled with so many special moments and genuine happiness from start to finish.

Ronan and Kathy are a very laid back couple and they aimed to create a relaxed atmosphere for their guests to feel at ease at their wedding, and it was so clear that they had achieved this.  The location, Airfield Estate in Dublin, was a perfect fit for Ronan & Kathy's wedding. It is a truly incredible venue, I can't recommend it enough. The attention to detail was evident throughout their wedding day, with so much charm and beauty with their personalities in the details.

Kathy's bouquet was a unique DIY arrangement. Each bridesmaid had picked a flower from their own garden to add to Kathy's bouquet, adding a personal touch that was truly special.  With Kathy’s flowers and the stunning gardens and natural beauty of Airfield Estate, we were surrounded with so many different backdrops for photos.  It is a wedding photographer’s dream!  The weather was typical that day with crazy showers one minute and then blistering sun the next but that thankfully that didn’t affect the vibe of the day at all.

Airfield Estate is well known for its great food, and the sharing-style meal was the perfect addition to their intimate vibe. To top it off, they had a taco truck in the evening, which was a fun and unexpected touch!

The wedding ceremony was personal and touching with their friend James taking the proceedings, and their friends Bláth, Luke, and Shane providing beautiful music during the ceremony. The band in the evening, The Dionnes, kept the dancefloor bouncing with their Motown style.

Ronan and Kathy looked amazing, with Kathy's wedding dress from Memories Bridal Boutique and Ronan's suit from Reiss.  Their friend Naomi made an impressive chocolate sponge cake with white chocolate buttercream icing.  Carol-Ann McGuirk did Kathy’s hair perfectly and Odharnait Kiernan did a wonderful job with Kathy’s natural style.

Working with the videographer, Pilgrim Films, was a great experience for me as a wedding photographer.  Gintas captured the day so perfectly and discreetly.

Ronan and Kathy's wedding at Airfield Estate was a truly special and relaxed day filled with constant laughter and special moments.  It was a privilege to be a part of their day and capture these moments for them and I wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
