Philip and Aisling | Redcastle Hotel Wedding

A few years back when I started shooting weddings, I would follow wedding photographers on Facebook & Twitter and I would read their comments on how they would be smiling as they were doing their edits. This is something that I can completely understand now, as when I was processing Philip and Aisling’s day I couldn’t help but have a big grin on my face! The entire day was just non stop smiles, which makes my job so much easier :)

The girls were so chilled in the morning and the lads were just full of the banter at the church. The whole day was all very laid back, the weather wasn’t ideal at some points and the wedding car broke down but that didn’t affect the joys of the day! We had time to stop at their local for a pint before heading off to the gorgeous Redcastle Hotel, which has stunning surroundings. Below are my favourite frames from their day, most particularly Aisling’s reaction to when the kids from her school surprised her with a performance as she walked back down the aisle! Also, for their couple shots they were such naturals with each other.

All round, total winner of a wedding :)

thank you both so much for having me along, it was a belter of a day!

below is a wee stop motion of what went into philip and aisling’s usb package!

WOW what a gorgeous couple. Love the portrait with the old boat and the line up with main bridal party by the sea. Lovely images.
